A hidden network of coordinated accounts and websites raised alarms among French investigators. The findings point to a broader pattern that may stretch far beyond national borders.
The French service VIGINUM, which specializes in countering foreign digital interference, has expressed suspicions regarding the Israeli company BlackCore. According to preliminary data, its activities may have been linked to attempts to interfere in electoral processes not only in France, but also in the United States and other countries.
This information is contained in a report by the General Secretariat for Defense and National Security, which includes VIGINUM. The document refers to a large-scale information campaign uncovered in March 2026.
The operation, named Rokh Solis, was based on an extensive network of websites and social media profiles. Through them, content was disseminated targeting the “La France Insoumise” party and its candidates during the municipal elections held on March 15 and 22.
Experts found that all the resources involved shared common technical characteristics: identical IP addresses, synchronized creation dates, and similar metadata. The promotion of materials was carried out through accounts on TikTok, Instagram, X, and Facebook that showed signs of inauthentic activity.
The publications were predominantly negative in tone and aimed at undermining trust in the political force and its representatives in cities such as Marseille, Toulouse, and Roubaix.
Particular attention in the report is given to the tactic of creating artificial discussions. The organizers of the campaign simultaneously spread narratives with opposing messages: from conservative and sovereigntist to pseudo-radical Islamist. According to experts, this approach was intended to intensify social tensions and deepen polarization, particularly through sensitive topics related to the Muslim community.
Government response and international dimension
The Prime Minister of France stated that the government had approached Israel with a request to assist in identifying the possible clients behind BlackCore’s activities. The French side expects to receive additional information to advance the investigation.
The Israeli embassy in Paris confirmed receipt of the request and noted that it is awaiting detailed materials for further analysis.
According to available information, suspicions regarding the company’s activities extend beyond France. This includes possible attempts to influence electoral processes in New York and Scotland, as well as activity in African countries, particularly Angola and Togo.
At the same time, VIGINUM head Marc-Antoine Brillant emphasized that it has not yet been possible to identify a specific client behind the operation.
Our investigations have not made it possible to identify the client or clients, if they indeed exist, behind this foreign digital interference

Other cases and parallel investigations
At the same time, other suspicions regarding the activities of Israeli private entities are emerging in Europe. In particular, in March, Slovenian law enforcement authorities reported possible interference by the company Black Cube in the electoral process.
According to the investigation, representatives of this entity may have gathered compromising information and conducted illegal surveillance. The likely goal of such actions is said to have been the discrediting of Robert Golob ahead of parliamentary elections.
The investigation in France is ongoing. Final conclusions regarding the role of BlackCore, as well as the possible clients behind this information operation, have not yet been made public.
