As much as I agree with this, it would very likely fall under ‘man traps’ which are illegal.

Here, they’d sue and get maybe 30 times the value of the bike. It’s a fairly classic man trap and a judge would take a particularly dim view of it since there’s also an element of entrapment. Funny vid all the same.
