Air defenses intercepted most incoming strike drones, curbing widespread destruction. Authorities continue searching impact sites and monitoring remaining threats.
The Ukrainian Air Defense Forces have shot down 91 of the 98 drones used by Russian invaders to attack the country since the evening of June 13.
According to the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the information is confirmed on their official Telegram channel, which also provides the corresponding military confirmations.
According to military data, since 18:00 on Saturday, June 13, the enemy has deployed 98 Shahed-type strike UAVs (including jet variants), as well as Herbera, Italmas drones, “Banderol” munitions and “Parody” decoys from directions of Orel, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtersk (Russia), and also from Chauda and Hvardiiske (the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea).
The airspace was repelled by aviation, air defense missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Current Situation and Consequences
According to preliminary data as of 08:00 on Sunday, June 14, the air defense has destroyed or suppressed 91 enemy drones across the north, south, and east of the country.
Hits by seven strike UAVs were recorded at six locations, and debris from downed targets fell at four locations.
The attack continues; a few enemy drones remain in the airspace.
According to official sources in the Dnipropetrovsk region, from enemy shelling damaged houses, an enterprise, the post office, and administrative buildings.
The defense forces continue to keep the situation under control and respond promptly to new threats.
