A Ukrainian drone strike in the Russian city of Oryol led to one death and nine injuries on Sunday, according to regional officials. The attack struck a high-rise apartment building, leaving several windows blasted apart and blackened.
Oryol Regional Governor Andrei Klychkov provided photographs illustrating the damage and confirmed that emergency services and police were managing the situation. The cleanup operations have commenced, Klychkov assured the public.
The incident underscores ongoing tensions and the precarious security situation in the region as the conflict between the two countries persists.
