When was the last time you saw a “To Let” sign outside a house in Ireland? I see them on commercial property all the time but can remember when I saw that sign on a residential home, if ever.

It’s called rent. and there’s no need to advertise.
I was shocked to see one a few weeks ago, first one I’ve seen in years!
Few in Inchicore/Tyrconnell Road, near the vets.
As someone who has worked in an estate agency, it isn’t worth your while. The sign guys only come to the area two days a week, so by the time they’d put it up, they’d have to take it down again. It also costs about 80e a pop to have a sign erected.
Awh jaysus it’s years.
why put a “to let” sign up when you could just stick an A3 page on the door(saying the same thing) and it’ll be gone in a hour..
You wouldn’t make it to the gate of your front garden carrying one of those before you were trampled to death by a mob of desperate prospective renters.
There is one down the road from me right now.
