Servus. As the title says, I tried to buy a prepaid SIM card from congstar but ran into an issue. In order to do so they require that I create a meincongstar account, which I thought would be fine if annoying, but during the registration process they ask for a current phone number just in case and apparently only accept German phone numbers. [Here](https://imgur.com/a/kzR5a5Z) you can see how it doesn’t accept my country’s calling code, which is needed to be able to contact me from Germany, with an image of a German mobile calling code that shows how it’s supposed to look.
Has anyone here had this experience? Also, would this still be a problem if I went to buy the SIM from a T-Punkt? I know I can contact customer service but they’re out for tonight and I’d rather figure it out ASAP.
