it’s a mass-produced, average chocolate product. Without its unique shape, nobody would even care. From a product standpoint, who cares if it’s produced in Switzerland or Slovakia.
From an economic perspective, this outsourcing is obviously bad for Swiss workers.
It’s mainly made of sugar, it’s not better than Mars and the likes.
does anyone besides tourist even eat that crap?
On the other hand Swissone (which is legally not a copy) is still being produced in Switzerland, and its main ingredient is still cocoa paste.
Consuming less but better is not more expensive at the end.
Ate it once when I was a kid it disgusted me how sweet it was.
Wasnt the company already owned by some american anyway?
ToblerGone, I hardly knew you…
I guess ill have to get you aquainted with swissone…. the new and better version of this kind of product.
Schweiz hergestellt. Die einzigen importierten Zutaten sind 1A-Kakao, Vanille und erlesene Mandeln für den Krokant.

Back in april, i realized toblerone was around 30% cheaper in belgium than in switzerland ffs. I will never buy this disgusting product again
Overrated anyway.

Toblerone was always a “Love-Hate” relationship for me.
The duty free at Zurich airport was my dealer of choice to carry that typical Swiss product as a gift for friends and family abroad. Was always proud they recognized that “Swiss chocolate” with its unique design. But buying it for myself? Nope – I found the chocolate quality subpar.
So now, it will be a “Hate-Hate” relationship, I guess. Same as with “Elmex”.
