Idk what is it about lucozade original but it’s really like crack, when working I can do 3-4 small bottles some days, yet I can’t really drink more then a cup of coffee normally as it overstimulated me or gives jitters etc.
But likes of lucozade is literally glucose+ caffeine.
So my thinking is only thing that somehow kills the rush is vitamin b3 or niacin.
Getting these in the chemist as a kid always felt strange but made me appreciate them all the more
Foamy burps aside, they’re magic for getting up a big hill on a bike
Are these still available? Used to love their flavour and i devoured them during the Leaving. Saw something similar to them in the chemist but haven’t tried them (yet)
Back in my RDF days they were fierce handy on exercises or guard duties.
You can still get them they are just under a generic brand.
Edit: boots and tesco have them in 3 flavours, original, lemon and Blackcurrant… many pharmacy also stock them they are called Dextro Energy.
