  1. In the field of technology and financial technology, the two sides cooperated in researching fintech application on the stock market; removing difficulties in managing the operation of Vietnam’s stock market.
    Regarding the field of health and pharmaceuticals, the two sides discussed the possibility of the British side supporting, training and improving vietnam’s capacity in pharmaceutical inspection activities; encourage British enterprises to cooperate in pharmaceutical production and technology transfer in Vietnam.
    In the field of education and vocational training, Vietnam proposed that the UK is interested in opening a division of prestigious British universities in Vietnam; He supports Vietnam’s international integration in education, sharing experiences, supporting British experts and scientists working in Vietnam; the two sides shall coordinate on the policy of granting work permits to foreigners operating in Vietnam; early implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of vocational education between the Government of Vietnam and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland signed on April 5, 2022.
    In the field of industry, the two sides cooperated in the field of high technology, processing and manufacturing including: Attracting investment, transferring technology of British enterprises into Vietnam; cooperation in training, consulting on business improvement and improving high-tech human resources for Vietnamese enterprises.
    In the field of market management and trade defense, the two sides cooperated to improve market management capacity, especially in the field of e-commerce, creating an equal competitive environment; develop policy mechanisms, complete legal corridors for market management activities; sharing information and experiences in the field of trade defense, exchanging information on the origin of imported goods, cooperation on early warning in the field of trade defense.
    The two sides also noted the proposals for cooperation and overcoming difficulties of some Vietnamese enterprises such as FPT, Vietnam Airlines and Bamboo Airways.
    Speaking at the session, Secretary of State Penny Mordaunt affirmed that the issues discussed at JETCO 12 are really practical and specific and the two sides will coordinate closely, make efforts to thoroughly and effectively solve the issues discussed at this meeting, contributing to bringing the Vietnam-UK Strategic Partnership into depth and effectiveness.
