Depicted: A. Hitler on the terrace of the Palais de Chaillot on 23 June, 1940. To his left is the sculptor Arno Breker, and to his right, Albert Speer, his favorite architect.
>That was the greatest and finest moment of my life,
Hitler said upon leaving.
Before you invade it, you’re like “I’m going to visit all the time” and “It’s going to be like a second capital”.
Then you have it, visit it once and then forget all about it and spend all your time in the Alps.
23rd of June in Paris and everyone with trench coat, even climate was hard in war time.
Has this photo been edited or altered? It’s quite striking how symmetrical it looks.
I wonder if he suffered from Paris Syndrome too and that’s why it was his only visit.
Not the Hitler posts again…
Albert “I was just an architect that didn’t know anything, I was a good nazi so please don’t kill me” Speer.
How did he get away with it?
This finally answers the question of who was in Paris
“You went up in the Eiffel Tower didn’t you? it’s so great, you can’t visit Paris without seeing the view from there.”
