With all the doctors leaving what can we actually do to replace them that isn’t simply importing more?
I don’t see us suddenly getting a surge of students willing to go into this
Different company that no longer exists but all of this sounds waaay to familiar.
So turning over peoples heath to a profit making company and then wondering why they’re cutting corners on peoples health.
Operose Health. Owned by…Centene.
The Americans are already balls deep in our health service, and it’s only going to get worse.
The tip of the iceberg of the NHS that the Tories have created.
They’ve been creating policies and practices to inject “business” in all layers of the system for a decade and more, with the misdirection of constant management re-shuffles and re-branding exercises to mask the reality.
Upper management is always dancing to a new tune sung by a new Health Secretary/Secretary of State. Middle management is constantly re-working their organisation and teams according to ever-changing priorities (designed to create business opportunities or gaps that can be accessed by private enterprise and kept open for the benefit of Tory mates and private enterprise) and the people on the front-lines are just completely ruined (those that remain).
If you wanted a playbook for how to destroy a national service – get a job in NHS management ASAP and just keep your ears open. It’s something the Tories are masterful at.
