I think it’s more about *alcohol sold* than about *alcohol consumed* when it comes to Luxembourg. Would not surprise me if in absolute litres, most alcohol involves cross-border trade rather than being consumed by a Luxembourger.
And this is not a bad thing. A lot of the “top” countries in this chart have **serious alcohol problems** in society (e.g. Ireland and Belarus) so it’s positive this is not the case with Luxembourg

Well i think people buy a lot of alcohol maybe to store? I saw a guy buying a big shopping cart full of wine. But who knows maybe people just drink to get over life? Look at the weather haha
Seychelles is from tourists though right? But what about Uganda? I had no idea they drank so much. Or is it also alcohol used in some industrial process?
