TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – Five new migrant deaths have been reported in Pima County, according to Humane Borders.

The group says the Pima County Medical Examiner recently added five new records to its database.

Most of the victims died from dehydration and exposure, with temperatures reaching triple digits in recent weeks.

Humane Borders reports a total of 4,476 migrant deaths in Arizona since 2000.
