If your politicians had an ounce of foresight and decisiveness, we would have a consortium of European arms manufacturers already mass-producing 155 mm howitzers and AA missile systems and you could have a bloodied Russia signing discount gas contracts before winter.
But since they’ve been dragging their feet at every step, you get almost the worst of both worlds.
Thought he would wait for winter to hurt europe more but looks like his army couldn’t hold out.

Honestly I’m just happy that he’s forcing us to do our bit. Ukraine deserves it.
Thank the gods I don’t live in some primitive country where entire industries rely on PutinGas™, or worse yet heat my home with it.
To be honest, there comes a point at which you’ve made all the preparation and done your best, and then you just accept the cost and cut off the leg. Fuckit, we’ll hop for a bit.
Every single bit of energy infrastructure in Russia just became a viable target though.
