Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has again called on Belarusian authorities to dismantle communication facilities that he says are being used in Russian drone attacks against Ukraine.
According to a Reuters report published on June 20, Zelensky urged Belarus for the second consecutive day to remove equipment that he says supports Russia’s military activities from Belarusian territory.
In his nightly video address, Zelensky said that Ukraine is aware of four communication facilities in Belarus that are allegedly involved in Russian attacks.
“Belarus still has the opportunity to dismantle this equipment,” he said. “We are also aware of every factory in Belarus that works for Russia and supports the war.”
The Ukrainian president further warned that Kyiv had already informed the Belarusian leadership about the issue and had called for an end to any support for Russia’s war efforts.
A day earlier, Zelensky said that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko had been given one week to remove the equipment from Belarusian territory.
