Reminds me of a wonderful sign near me for Celbridge that was vandalised to say Smelbridge.
Those dryshites in Google decided to [blur it out on the Street View](https://i.imgur.com/zqX230y.png) images of the sign prior to it being cleaned.
If you take one step forward you get the unblurred, [post-cleaning version](https://i.imgur.com/snOFUR1.png) where you can still see the outline of the masterpiece.

Spotted a sign for Mountmellick a while back with the M remove and the O turned into a C…
None of us here would have done that.
You can be sure though that had one of us seen this vandalism take place we would have reported it to the Gardaí promptly
