These choices make the disconnect between RTE and the Irish music industry so clear. Aside from Fontaines and Denise Chaila (who both have already amassed incredible publicity), there’s very little on here that isn’t already standard classic radio stuff. It would be brilliant if RTE looked outside of this stuff
Pity of a list really, some great tunes in there no doubt but if that’s genuinely meant to be Ireland’s top 60 songs ever it’s a bit embarrassing
