Expecting religious fundamentalists to liberalize abortion laws – especially laws that they themselves implemented – is like asking a Discopolo festival having Vader be the goddamn headliner. It’s just not gonna happen.
I`m not suprised, it was projeckt of free abortion up until 12 weak for 13+ years old. Over 50% people in poland is agains liberalisation of abortion law to that degree, so projeckt had no chance.
im an atheist and im against abortion since i think abortion is against murder. Idk why poland reddit always assumes its just religious folks against abortion. A lot of us also think abortion is murder which is why we want it outlawed. I had a cousin in poland who had an unwanted pregnancy when she was 18. she briefly thought of getting an abortion. she didnt do it and now she has 2 beautiful boys and married the cop that impregnated her
