Is it after languages already mastered like English?
Is it for curiosity or out of necessity?
*none*
why would someone answer “none”?
maybe I could not want to put the effort to learn a new language, but if someone asks me if I would like to learn a new language obviously the answer is yes
also is it excluded “English” from the answers? because I’m pretty sure the majority of people would find it the more useful and in some countries (like Italy) a lot of people don’t speak English at all
So maybe the new ~~official~~ working language for the EU should be Spanish (suck it, Macron)
Lol they all want holidays is Spain.
Ukraine and Portugal want work in Deutschland.
But why Czech and Lituania ? Merde
Might not the languages you learn in school affect this poll though?
For example, historically in Ireland your choices were French or German. So very few people here would have had the opportunity to learn Spanish.

Portuguese sounds so sexy tbh.
I mean in Greece tv series for kids and teens and even the dramas has left their mark for sure. Spain is considered a perfect country. At school when they gave us to fill what language we want to learn from Spanish German Italian french, all of us wanted spanish and of course we ended up learning french because that was the avaibillity of teachers.
German
Hungary may be the most monolingual country of Europe, and this map indicates that Hungarians are the only ones to choose “none.” I would be interested in hearing from Hungarians about this.
Bosnia: 100% German
What’s up with Cyprus wanting to learn Russian?
Lithuanians want to learn french to get into their womens panties
That’s because they are all most likely already learning English.
Spanish for the win!
Pues claro, es la idioma mas bonita de este continente barbarico.

I don’t understand the scope of the question.
Are we talking about a second language?
