MOUNT VERNON, Ill. (KFVS) – As the community of Mount Vernon begins to move forward, one local business is stepping up in an effort to aid those impacted by Sunday’s deadly tornado.
Winsupply contributes tornado aid(Morgan Johnson)
Winsupply, a local business located on Benton Road, is accepting donations, like bottled water, food and blankets.
On Monday evening, those items were distributed to tornado victims at Zion United Methodist church. Organizers say they hope to continue with donations through the end of the week.
“Our goal is to bring the community together and to really step in and play our part in the community, especially when it’s a need,” said Winsupply Showroom Manager Sarah Clark.
