Americans can’t even believe this is an actual game, running about with bladed sticks with zero protection besides the head and the ball flying at ungodly speeds once its smacked.
I’m not a GAA fan, but that’s impressive
where’s the metal strap? usually hurley’s have one right where the ball hit
I thought the ball was going to hit his other hurley if you know what I mean
I had the pleasure of visiting Ireland for the first time this April. Words can not describe how wonderful and enchanting, not only the country, but the people are. Taking in some TV while I rested in the hotel I noticed it was rugby season. I was hoping for a quick glance of Hurley while there but obviously the game was not in season? In the US we of course have Baseball (Spring Summer) , American Football (Autumn) and Basketball (Winter). Are your sports based on the seasons as well?
