I’m a Brit and I’m buying a house further outside of London.
I’ve driven the country, travelled the continent, etc. any number of times, but in the last few times I’ve driven to the town in which I’m going to be buying my house, there must be DOZENS of red-kites in plain view, and dozens more on nearby fields, if you look out from a hill, etc.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many, anywhere.
And they’re within 30 minutes of London, so numerous that it’s not unusual now for me to see multiple “columns” of them, almost like an airport holding pattern, every mile or so after I get off the motorway.
