Madonna brought Saint Laurent’s elongated slingback style into saturated color Tuesday, arriving at Anthony Vaccarello’s men’s spring 2027 show in Paris in hot pink pumps capped with black.

The pumps featured a low-cut vamp, a narrow point and slim slingback straps that left the heel exposed above fine stilettos. The pink upper ran almost all the way to the front before stopping at a clean black cap, creating a hard break at the toe rather than a softer two-tone fade seen in other iterations of recent Saint Laurent slingbacks. Nude fishnet tights kept the full line of the shoe visible beneath her fitted minidress.
The exact style and pink-and-black colorway does not seem to be available in the house’s public assortment, at least not yet, but the shape is familiar under Vaccarello. It recalls the stretched point of the Amalia slingback and the cleaner Vendome, while the capped toe lines up with the direction he showed for fall 2026.

That collection pushed the elongated pump further with transparent uppers, narrow square tips, cap-toe trim and partly clear heels. In WWD’s review, Miles Socha called them “sexy slingbacks with long snouts,” a description that aligns with the extended, pointed shape seen in Madonna’s pair, though not necessarily to as extreme of a degree.
Vaccarello has kept returning to the slingback while changing the material around it, and celebrities are fans of the dramatic silhouettes. Zoë Kravitz wore a clear PVC fall 2026 version with faint python print ahead of the Met Gala in May. At the Brit Awards in March, Rosé went in the opposite direction with white P.A.R.I.S. slingbacks set on lacquered 11cm metal heels. The details shifted, but the low vamp, exposed heel and extended toe stayed in place.
