LONGi Solar Europe, a China-based manufacturer of PV modules, has announced a large-scale supply partnership with independent power producer Enery. The module manufacturer will act as the primary technology provider for a 1.5 GW generation pipeline across 2026 and 2027. Under the agreement terms, the supplier will deliver 50% of the equipment components for this regional clean energy portfolio. The cornerstone asset is the 761 MW Ogrezeni hybrid project located in Giurgiu County, Romania, which is currently under construction. This landmark development integrates the large solar array alongside a battery storage network with a capacity exceeding 1 GWh. The massive facility will deploy more than 1.1 million proprietary Hi-MO9 Back Contact modules to optimize energy yields. Scheduled for commercial launch in 2027, this operational plant will supply stable electricity to approximately 684,000 regional households.
