Malta always sounds like a bad version of some backwards conservative Southern Italian town stuck in 50s but with 21st century tech and banking system.
A story just like this one finally ended the abortion ban in Ireland.
It’s a terrible price to pay, but societies seem to *need* an unignorable event to finally force them into action.
The UN should have a say in this, Amnesty should too take this issue of Malta seriously, there is no way in 2022 women should risk their life because of Anti-Abortion, Forced Pro-Life Bigotry.
