Ireland and its people should ditch the idea of owning 4-bedroom houses with gardens immediately and start building up. I’m not talking about skyscrapers here, but rather a decent 4-5 story apartment buildings. Demand for owning a house is literally killing many single people or people with minimal needs.

Except Cork City which seems to be mad to approve highrise (only problem is that only offices are being submitted)
