A collection of early writings by Pope Leo XIV will be published in English for the first time this fall, underscoring new access to his formative reflections. Titled “Freedom Under Grace: Reflections on the Spiritual Tradition That Formed Me,” the book is scheduled for Sept. 15 through Image Books, an imprint of the Penguin Random House Christian Publishing Group. It features homilies and addresses by Robert Prevost from his tenure as prior general of the Order of Saint Augustine from 2001 to 2013. Publisher Campbell Wharton described it as a book for any Catholic, Christian, or spiritual seeker looking for guidance and hope. The release presents previously unavailable material in English within its historical context.
