Hi.
I notice on [Adverts.ie](https://Adverts.ie) that some sellers use ‘Collection’ as the selling method. Does that mean the buyer calls to collect the items from the seller’s home? I’m considering selling some bulky tech – too big to post. I’d rather sell/donate them rather than recycle.
I’m just wondering if others here have done this and their experience of it.
Thanks.

Yes, I’ve bought and sold loads of stuff from adverts this way.
Totally fine. Just take normal precautions. Depending on what I’m selling/buying I might meet somewhere public. Pay attention to feedback score before meeting them.
What stuff are you selling?
Yeah I sold a guitar on there, lad just called to my house, I showed it to him at the door and it was grand.
Maybe just check the buyers reviews to know they’re legit before giving your address.
There’s forum on boards of retro gamers who might light that sort of stuff
Have bought and sold lots (+100 transactions) on adverts and only had trouble with one person who wanted to low ball in person after making an offer.
Didn’t sell to him in the end even at asking price.
I have sold a fair amount of stuff through adverts.
Most were collected, either bulky items like furniture, or more delicate items like models.
Never had an issue with any of them.
Do the sellers here go with cash transactions when they buyer calls to their home or is it PayPal?
