  1. in 20-30 years, in fact, the whole of Europe will be in union and what will we do with Switzerland in the center of the map, we like how empty it is in the center or, on the contrary, annoying.

  2. The whole territory of Cyprus joined the EU in 2004 and all Cypriot people became EU citizens despite the temporary suspension of EU Acquis in the north of the island.

Ukraine became a candidate as a whole, Donbas and Crimea weren’t excluded.

  3. You don’t show eastern Ukraine and Crimea seperately but you do with turkish-occupied northern Cyprus.

    Interesting.

  4. The EU is dealing out candidacies like candies, but there is little popular support for expansion of the union amongst EU citizens.

  5. The EU would never allow Turkey to join, even if they’d fulfilled everything they ask from them.

The EU doesn’t want borders with Iran, Iraq and Syria. Let alone a majority Muslim nation.

  6. Just grant Georgia the candidate status already, ffs. As it is, you’re basically telling them they’re in worse shape than Ukraine and Moldova, and on the same level as Bosnia. Which seems patently untrue.
