  1. Ah the cult of money is running the show.

I’ll say it again this is what happens when you take a schooling from the Tories.

  2. I saw shite like this in Pakistan, never even imagined that I would see same type if shite here in Ireland.

  3. This alone would stop me from voting for Fianna Fáil. How can he say “no comment”. The point of the dail is to ask and answer questions. Imagine if all parties just spent their entire time in the dail just saying “no comment” to uncomfortable questions. Would render the whole thing pointless.

  4. Response from Mehole: mumble, mumble, Sinn Fein, mumble mumble, IRA, mumble, mumble, criminal elements, mumble.

  5. Zero accountability for these corrupt scumbags. Same old story. On a positive note it would seem they’re having trouble raising funds. I can’t wait for these spineless dinosaurs to die off.

  6. Two cheeks of the same arse, fuck the cost of living march, people should march to the man in the park to dissolve this corporate government.

  7. Stuff like this should be put to a referendum, but then again, knowing the government, when the people vote no, they’ll find away to get a yes.

  8. That’s why it’s unimaginable to vote for FFG, they’re the equivalent of Labour/Conservative or Democrat/Republican and have nothing to fear because one of them will always be in power.

  9. If politicians becoming homeless, is what it is going to take to make corrupt politicians empathize with all of the people they are making homeless – then perhaps all of the people under threat of homelessness, should begin making the politicians responsible for this, homeless as well, mmm?

  10. They don’t care what you say, either campaign against them or shut up, its that simple, they won’t listen to anything other than revolt

  11. “The last raffle I was at was very interesting, because the people who ran the raffle, actually won it! So it’s not unusual for that to happen, now and again.”

  12. Seen a tiktok vid, old recording.. they can break rules, suffer no pain and then create new rules to suit themselves… This was the day before when this law was slid in under the table..

    That was some foreshadowing

  13. You can read the full Dáil debate [here](https://www.oireachtas.ie/en/debates/debate/dail/2022-06-15/21/)

A particularly baffling bit is learning that there’s no record of FF having a licence for their June “super-draw”, and that promoting such a thing would therefore be an offence, and tons of FF TD’s advertised the raffle on their websites, so if the law actually worked in this country, a massive chunk of the Fianna Fáil parliamentary party would be done-in for unlawful promotion of an unauthorised lottery

  14. Fianna Fáil have become masters at letting the Greens take all their shit. And the Greens have become masters at eating it.

  15. “They are fucking terrorists.”

“They are comfortable playing only from the opposition desks.”

“They are lying to Irish people.”

All the above and more kept saying from colleagues at work, but what SF elected representative seems they are very good at their job in the Dail.

Yes, opposition is about words, governments is about acts. But, their analysis in spotting population needs is putting light on the right spots.

Their analysis of government officials questionable practices is often unquestionable.

I don’t know if their solution proposals are feasible and able to address problems on housing, job market, economy in general. And, if how they would play in the international relations with the EU, US, UK, NATO and other strategic frameworks.

But, I can’t avoid noticing their approach and talent shine compared to many in the government, maybe except Leo and a few others.

  16. One rule for us, another for them. Amazing how we’re even a semi-functioning state with those crooks in FF & FG ruling over us for a century.

Time for change. Vote, people. It’s the biggest impact we can make.

  17. I’m not saying they’re money-laundering, but that would be a good way to get away with money-laundering.

I’m also not saying they’re avoiding registering donations, but that would also be a good way to avoid registering donations.

I’m not saying they’re hiding bribes, but that would also be a great way to hide bribes.

  18. Just WOW!! The time has come fellow Redditors. This is beyond a joke and each day that passes is somewhat like an experiment of ‘how much more can we get away with and what’ll we do to them next?’

I don’t know about you, but I’m beyond tired of it. Unfortunately, the peaceful person protests are not enough. I don’t have the answers but maybe it’s time to experiment ourselves???
