ROME, N.Y. — The Rome City School District Board of Education has decided to keep its superintendent on the job longer.
The board extended Superintendent Nerlande Anselme’s contract, which was originally set to run through the 2026-27 school year, to now last through the 2028-29 school year.
Anselme began her role in 2024.
Her salary will increase by 3% in the final year of the new contract.
