The government needs to be careful not to worsen inflation with demand side stimulus. I’m worried that they will bow to pressure and do so however.
I think the issue people have is there isn’t even a semblance of a plan here.

It’s almost as if locking-down the country and pumping money into circulation to avoid businesses going bankrupt was a bad idea?
The ECB are reluctant to raise interest rates because it could lead to countries like Greece defaulting on their debts. Combine that with the EU reliance on Russian oil and gas and were in a far more dangerous situation than most people realise
