More concerned about foreign influence in government than speakers at universities.
If were doing a free speech bill how about we stop prosecuting people for offensive tweets and private WhatsApp conversations between each other?
This government is influenced by foreign money, a lot of Russian money for example, so if this Bill influences universities then we’re still seeing foreign influence just happening from above the control of the university. Tories being paid to alter our systems by request of foreign donors.
This is good but I somehow suspect it’ll be used to crackdown on left wing speakers rather than grifters from turning point USA, Chinese or Saudia money…
