What does the red stripe on the right of number plates mean? I know the all-red and all-blue plates mean diplomat, but no clue about these ones, any ideas?

1. New car with a temporary license. He has like 30 days to change it to a real plate.

2. We call them “transit plates. There must be 4 digits; two on top, two below. Ones indicate the month; the others indicate the year. Commonly they are valid for 1 month, this in the picture has only two digits (for the year they are valid). Maybe you can purchase one for the whole year if you are a car dealer.

3. All blue plates aren’t for diplomats but for foreigners who have a registered car in Bulgaria.

4. Does anyone know how to buy them? I want to import my greek plate car to Bulgaria but first i have to return the greek plates to the greek government and then drive it to Bulgaria
