Completely absurd. Billion dollar industry with wages through the roof which need subsidies to survive for some reason. Club Brugge tried going to the stock market to raise funds, Anderlecht’s finances have been questionable at the very least, and big players like Barcelona on the verge of bankruptcy. It’s clear they’re all in way over their head. Just let the house of cards fall down and rebuild once the dust settles.
