Me and the whole group i went to graspop with, except 1 person tested all postitive. (self tests all stayed negative!!!). for me it started at tuesday evening until this morning. now i feel okay for 95%. my 9 month old daughter started at the same moment as me. and my wife started to feel sick today and also tested positive now.
my first taught about graspop this year was…. well still some covid active.
dirty and waaay to less toilets ad festival fair AND campsite. not a single bottle of “alcoholgel”.
can anyone remember the clean white porcelain toilets from a few years ago and before?
I only had 2 exposures from Graspop, went all 4 days tho
Because I had family working at Graspop I was contemplating going even though my usual Belgian festivals list is nearer festivals and smaller ones with more specific music.
But the calendar was so jam packed with fantastic names old and new.
Then I took a step back and realized I was able to avoid getting COVID in the past 2 years and a festival was probably not the best place to keep that trackrecord.
That reminds me, I have a wedding to go to this weekend.
A quarter of the people there went to Graspop.
So, yeah, I’m not fucking hugging, kissing or shaking hands with anyone there.

Yup, tested negative on Tuesday but positive on Thursday. Graspop was indeed pretty epic.

Went 4 days and I’ve been all over the place. I’m still negative. I tested yesterday, because a colleague got sick earlier (not related to graspop). All my friends are still negative too. I guess you just got unlucky, or we got lucky. Should’ve bought more lottery tickets. :/

I had a guy behind me in the entrance queue on Wednesday coughing like crazy. I joked to my girlfriend: “By next week we’ll all have COVID because of that guy.” 2 days ago I tested positive and I’ve been feeling pretty sick.

Yeah, friend tested positive on wednesday, I was still negative but tested positive yesterday. Kinda already knew on thursday, woke up with a some throat. Was kinda hoping it was my standard festival-cold. Nope.
Silver lining: no obligated company party
(And this might sound really narrowminded but considering I just got the symptoms of a throatinfection I’d say it was worth it. I managed to avoid it for 2y at the detriment of my mental health. I knew GMM would be a big risk but I desperately needed to charge my spoons. I feel so much better mentally now. worry though, I’m selfisolating now)
