Syria and Iraq strengthen joint cooperation and announce the formation of a high-level coordination committee

Damascus, Syria – Syria and Iraq discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in several vital sectors and agreed to form a high-level joint coordination committee.

This comes as part of their efforts to develop relations between the two countries

and expand economic, security, and service-related cooperation.

Economic and service cooperation

The Syrian Foreign Ministry stated that the talks addressed strengthening cooperation in the energy, water, and agriculture sectors.
