Looking forward to the Telegraph’s readers’ comments…
I don’t care what the Queen thinks of him, to me as to many people he will always be remembered first and foremost as a war criminal
Knight of the ~~Garter~~ Slaughter.
For all the good he did during his term, he sullied it by effectively becoming a war criminal.
If it wasn’t for student fees and some light genocide he’d be a real statesman.
Knighting a war criminal. Wonderful.
That would look mighty snazzy on the tribunal in The Hague.
nonces blaggers and war criminals what a week at windsor
The photo really captures his empathy and remorse via any historical stuff relating to Iraq, don’t you think?
Like the Cheshire grin of someone who’s just publically executed someone to everyone’s sheer horror, but then you find them getting invited to the police ball instead of a police cell.
Laughable really, if it wasn’t so damn tragic.
Funny how the nursery and the monarchy both adore the dressing up box.
Sir Tony baron of Baghdad
For services to war crimes.
Because the monarchy isn’t against war criminals. They only exist because of crimes against humanity.
Good. His achievements are unrivalled.
The Iraq war did not end well but the reasoning was understandable… a dictator with a history of genocide and starting war, a desire to control the worlds oil supply and a long history of seeking the construction of WMDs had to be eliminated. Its a shame that people on this sub haven’t got the braincells to have a more nuanced view.
Warmongers rejoice. War Crimes Criminal given another bauble
