  1. I don’t care what the Queen thinks of him, to me as to many people he will always be remembered first and foremost as a war criminal

    For all the good he did during his term, he sullied it by effectively becoming a war criminal.

  3. The photo really captures his empathy and remorse via any historical stuff relating to Iraq, don’t you think?

    Like the Cheshire grin of someone who’s just publically executed someone to everyone’s sheer horror, but then you find them getting invited to the police ball instead of a police cell.

    Laughable really, if it wasn’t so damn tragic.

  4. Good. His achievements are unrivalled.

    The Iraq war did not end well but the reasoning was understandable… a dictator with a history of genocide and starting war, a desire to control the worlds oil supply and a long history of seeking the construction of WMDs had to be eliminated. Its a shame that people on this sub haven’t got the braincells to have a more nuanced view.
