Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 419 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles overnight across multiple regions of the country, Russia’s Defense Ministry said in a statement.

According to the ministry, the drones were downed between 8:00 p.m. Moscow time (1700 GMT) on June 29 and 7:00 a.m. Moscow time (0400 GMT) on June 30, News.Az reports.

“Between 8:00 p.m. Moscow time on June 29 and 7:00 a.m. Moscow time on June 30, alert air defense capabilities intercepted and destroyed 419 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Krasnodar, Lipetsk, Moscow, Oryol, Rostov, Ryazan, Saratov, Smolensk, Tambov, Tver, Tula, Vladimir, Volgograd, and Voronezh Regions as well as Crimea,” the ministry said in a statement.

The Russian Defense Ministry did not provide details on casualties, damage, or the number of drones intercepted in each region.
