LISBON – Columbiana County has launched a new way for residents to pay their property taxes.
According to a press release, residents are now able to pay their property taxes online through a platform called InvoiceCloud.
The platform offers residents a variety of ways to pay their property tax bills, including credit and debit cards, electronic checks, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Residents can also enroll in free email and text payment reminders to avoid missing the deadline and incurring late fees.
As reported last week, the deadline for Columbiana County residents to pay their second half property taxes has moved from July 29 to August 21.
This delay was enacted to allow the State of Ohio to complete implementation of the House Bill 186 inflation cap credit before bills could be finalized and issued.
Residents are recommended to wait to receive their bills before paying to avoid overpayments.
