Repairs to a natural gas pipeline have temporarily closed southbound lanes of 6th Street NW between Prospect and Apache Avenues in Albuquerque a New Mexico Gas Company news release said. The repairs began Monday and, as of now, are expected to be done early next week. An NMGC spokesperson said the reopening of the road will be announced when it is known for sure. Motorists planning to use southbound 6th Street NW to access I-40 from Menaul Boulevard should plan another route.
