Trans issues have gone mighty quiet the past couple of weeks.. It’s like the government and media have a new target for stirring division and hatred.
Conservatives always have been passionate ideological opponents of trade unions. That’s why the government is pass so many laws which are unnecessarily restrictive upon unions.
They forget that before we had sensible trade union laws which made union action somewhat predictable, workers would just walk off the job at random. If you push trade union regulation too far (as the Conservatives are keen to do), you back the movement into a corner and we will just ignore the regulations.
It’s always been a Tory thing, but what scares me at the moment is the way Starmers Labour is disenfranchising the unions too.
Same party that literally waged physical war on coal union and the like 40years ago…why is anyone shocked

Culture War won Brexit and the 2019 election.
Why would they change a winning method?
