In 1990 Gerry adams was still banned (cancelled) from the bbc and all other British media, so it was very difficult to get the word out about what was going on in the north. The British still have many Irish songs banned from the radio etc to this day and most people in other parts of the uk have no idea about the atrocities committed there by the British soldiers.
Mad how some have rolled back to thinking censorship is acceptable because they agree with the censors now
