A person has died in hospital five days after crashing their motorbike in New Plymouth.
Police said they were called at 8.05pm on June 26 to the single-vehicle crash, which happened at the corner of Frankley Rd and Pike Pl.
“The rider received critical injuries and was transported to hospital.
Sadly, despite best efforts by medical professionals, the rider died in hospital on Wednesday [July 1].”
