Wall Street powerhouses Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs announced on Thursday that they will offer a $1,000 corporate match for employees who open the newly established federal “Trump Accounts” for their children.

Set to launch nationwide on July 4th, Trump Accounts are tax-deferred investment vehicles designed to help American families jumpstart long-term wealth building for the next generation. Under the federal program, U.S. citizens born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028, automatically receive a one-time $1,000 seed deposit from the government. The new matching initiatives mean eligible children of Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs employees will see an additional $1,000 injected into their funds right at the start, News.Az reports, citing Reuters.

In internal corporate memos, leadership from both financial firms framed the decision as a strategic push for early financial literacy. Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon emphasized that starting early and staying invested for the long haul remains one of the most reliable strategies for building lasting financial security.

The public-private partnership comes as major employers leverage the tax-advantaged accounts to bolster standard benefits packages. Under the rules governing the new savings vehicle, funds must be invested in low-cost mutual funds or ETFs that track broad U.S. equity indexes, and the money cannot be withdrawn until the beneficiary turns 18, at which point it transitions into a traditional IRA.
