During the family vacation, Hudson and her 7-year-old daughter wore coordinated outfits, including matching resort dresses.
Hudson also took a plunge in a cheeky black string bikini on her Instagram Stories.
Kate Hudson‘s sense of style runs in the family. On July 2, Hudson, 47, shared a photo of herself on Instagram lounging by the pool with her 7-year-old daughter Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa in matching summer outfits during a family vacation in Athens, Greece.
“Perfect start to summer,” the Running Point star captioned a photo gallery featuring rare pictures of her children. One photo, in particular, featured the mother-daughter duo curled up poolside in lawn chairs positioned around a patio table. On the left, Hudson, an avid reader, sat reading a book while wearing a brown triangle bikini with a thick band and matching swim bottoms. She styled the look with a gold necklace, a matching ring, and red-framed reading glasses with a subtle cat-eye silhouette.

On the right, Rani, wearing the same swimsuit, mirrored her mother’s reading position as she focused her full attention on the book resting against her knees. The pair even had matching drinks in front of them on the table, making it clear that they’d fully settled in for a relaxing afternoon.
Rani and her mother’s matching vacation wardrobes didn’t end there. In another photo featured in the gallery, Hudson held Rani’s hand as they walked along a beachside path at night. For the evening festivities, Hudson wore a strappy maxi dress in baby blue. The mom of two styled the look with a delicate gold necklace, a brown shoulder bag, and see-through flats. Standing beside her, Rani donned a coordinated floral halter dress with a matching baby-blue hem. The body of the dress also featured a floral print in red and blue.

Beyond being engrossed in their respective books, Hudson and Rani found other ways to stay occupied during their family vacation. Notably, the pair took a stroll along the beach with Hudson’s youngest son, Bingham Hawn Bellamy, 14—who she shares with her ex, Matt Bellamy—and played padel tennis.
Though he wasn’t pictured, Hudson also shares her oldest son, Ryder Russell Robinson, 22, with her ex-husband, Chris Robinson.
