Fun fact: The guy in black is called a ‘skojare’. His job is looking for witches. If he finds any, they are burned at the stake, providing all the light for the feast.
This is why the Norwegian border to Sweden is heavily guarded around midsommar. We don’t want any Swedish skojare here.
