Wow, Jenrick got rekt. Look at his face while Our Guy is tearing him a new one. I’ve seen that expression before. Its “you’re proving me wrong in front of everybody and I’m trying desperately to look like I’m not a complete tool”.
Gandhi was correct on his perception of confrontation with the establishment. First they will ignore you. Then they will ridicule you. Then they will fight you. If still you stand they will try to make you them.
Kinda weird how someone who gets in front of the media and presents a radical socialist alternative to neoliberal orthodoxy instantly becomes the most popular political figure in the country, and yet Keir Starmer had to abandon socialism and go further right than Blair for the sake of electability.
