  1. Dodged 3 cases at work in the last 2 week because I point blank refuse to take off my mask.

    They cram us into a tiny room with no windows and get us to hot desk with no mask policy. I have requested wfh and a laptop, but these are in short supply and we’re “not a wfh organisation” – unless you’re senior staff.

  4. Yeah I’ve been in Australia since the start of covid. Came back to the uk for my first visit and I now have covid. The UK is riddled with it and basically all the covid rules have gone

  5. I fell to Covid this week. Only 26 and it had me on my knees. Massively underestimated how bad it would be.

  7. Been doing my utmost to catch it, still haven’t been successful after two years. Maybe I’ll have more luck with the Monkeypox.

  8. Managed to avoid it for 2.5yrs, caught it last week, headache from hell and zero energy, i was expecting a cold tbh

  10. Definitely down with something but all the tests I’ve done come back clear.

    Either I’ve not got it, the tests are not picking up the variant I have or I suck at doing the tests.

  11. We have many people in our team down with it right now and we are only “in the office” 1-2 days a week (civil service). I use that phrase in quotations as our office also involves going to police site, operational centres etc. Several of the team are getting it for the second or third time are are really suffering compared to the last time they had it.

    I know the plural of anecdote is not data but its a story that is repeated over and over again. I hope that it doesn’t get serious. Even with the rise in cases i don’t actually feel threatened. But with this Gov and the lack of decent testing/tracking we will only know that its really bad, several weeks too late.

  13. I had it last two weeks ago, and a colleague on the same team had it too. We’re field based so we caught it out in the wild. That’s 50% of our current team, not good to come back to backlogs of work that didn’t get done.
