I am looking for Canon M200 camera and I saw [this listing](https://www.gigantti.fi/product/urheilu-ja-vapaa-aika/kamerat-ja-valokuvaus/kamerat/jarjestelmakamerat/canon-eos-m200-bk-m15-jarjestelmakamera-15-45-mm-objektiivi/152842) in giganti. It is 100e cheaper than the [official canon listing](https://store.canon.fi/canon-eos-m200-body-black-ef-m-15-45mm-lens/3699C028/). But it says “järjestelmäkamera” which what google says it’s SLR (opposing to Mirrorless which what M200 is). In the bottom it says ” Järjestelmäkameran tyyppi: Järjestelmäkamera (DSLR)” too.

I’m bit confused, can someone clarify?

  1. Järjestelmäkamera is basically just a word meaning a camera that has changeable optics/lenses, copared to normal toursist compact with fixed lenses.

  2. In finnish markets “järjestelmäkamera” (=system camera) means just something like “interchangeable lenses system camera” as opposed to pocket cameras and such. We rarely use any form of “DSLR” as naming convention. Sometimes we do say “peilitön järjestelmäkamera” meaning mirrorless system camera. It is a bit messy but most of the time the camera model name is same or very similar between Euro and US models. Always check manufacturers website if there are differences.
